Confidence in job market returning to recruitment firms

A recruitment firm has stated that it is now more confident about people having success in sales recruitment than it has been at any time in the last two years.

The Financial Times reported that Hays Recruitment said that signs of stability are returning to all markets, including the sales jobs sector.

It reported that the banking and financial sectors were currently helping to lead the world out of recession.

Analysts have also told the source that this news is marking a turning point for the sales recruitment industry, with three of the biggest firms stating that the market has stabilised in the past three months.

In what could eventually turn to good news in the UK, the Financial Times reported that there has been a modest quarter-on-quarter growth on fees in the Asia-Pacific region.

Bernard Brown, partner and head of business services at KPMG, commented that the UK job market is continuing its journey back to a position of health, stating that new employment figures were "encouraging".
