Tips for sales job success

Sales managers have been advised that integrity is the way to ensure success once they have landed that dream job.

According to Online Recruitment magazine, meta-morphose International has identified the top five tips for sales managers looking to make their mark on their organisation.

Research from the firm has found that some 40 per cent of sales managers fail within their first year because their skills are insufficient to meet the requirements of their position.

Integrity was named as one of the top tips for sales job success.

"A sales leader must approach everything they do with honesty and openness, so those who look to them for direction can trust their decisions," states the report.

Other recommendations include good communication skills, experienced leadership qualities, a willingness to develop and the ability to inspire.

Another recent article in Online Recruitment magazine cited research from SFL highlighting the top five gripes employees have with their managers.
