UK Sales Manager, Sales into Pharmacies

UK Sales Manager, Capital Equipment into Pharmacies. £35,000 Basic, £50,000 OTE + Car and extensive benefits. Leading European manufacturer of automation systems into pharmacies is looking to increase their UK business by appointing an experienced Sales Manager to lead market penetration within the UK. The role is spearheading growth within the UK and developing a team around you.

Proving the most leading-edge technology and renowned for providing the highest quality in their field, the company require an individual who is already proven in selling high valued product or services into pharmacies. The product or services could be capital equipment, shelving, supply chain services, refitting, back office systems, EPoS or any other infrastructural product (i.e. not consumables or pharmaceuticals themselves) . Ideally you will have experience of selling into the major pharmacy chains or pharmacies contained within the major grocers.

Already a market leader in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Australia the company have already won a handful of 'flagship' clients in the UK. Now leveraging these relationships and having the proof of concept and case studies to prove the systems efficiency they provide the perfect platform for a dedicated and passionate Sales Manager to take the UK business to the next level. The company have been established since the 1800's and offer a wide range of systems that reduce cost, improve efficiency and service and also decrease errors and staffing costs.

To apply to this fascinating career role you must meet the following criteria:

* You will have proven experience of selling high valued equipment or products or services into the retail and/or hospital Pharmacy Industry. Existing contacts and current experience within these sectors are preferred.

* Of graduate calibre you will have a demonstrable record of gaining market share and expanding sales through hard work, planning and tenacity.
* Ideally you will be new business development led as the core focus of this role is to increase market share within the UK by identifying new targets and market opportunities
* You will be able to 'speak the language' of pharmacists and be able to build long term credible partnerships built upon transparency and delivery. Perhaps you could be a pharmacist that has since progressed into sales.
* You will be able to sell high valued total solutions from an initial meeting to delivery and oversee the installation. A basic ability to read drawings and an understanding of project management principles would be a benefit.
* You will be technically inquisitive but as you are supported by an already established UK technical support and installation team you are not expected to be an engineer. However you are expected to be the kind of person that likes to know 'how things work' and be keen to take on not only the sales but also the project leadership of installations by being the conduit for complete customer satisfaction.
* You will be 'hands on' with a hard working ethic and a people manager that is able to manage project managers, installers and engineers as well as sales executives.
* You will also have a fun and cheery persona - someone that is grounded and naturally positive.
* The UK HQ is in Birmingham but as the role is Covering both the UK and Eire the ideal location for this individual would be in the Midlands , or the centre of the country, say between Luton and Leeds or Manchester.
